Tallinn, 16 May 2025 – AS Pro Kapital Grupp is pleased to announce the official opening of the new seaside promenade in the Kalaranna District, Tallinn. The event marks the final milestone in the completion of the residential and commercial development project Kalaranna District, a major step in revitalising Tallinn’s waterfront and reconnecting the city centre with the sea.

The promenade, which has been handed over to the City of Tallinn for public use, serves as a dynamic meeting point where urban life, seafront views, modern architecture, and community converge. The newly completed public space includes cafés, restaurants, playgrounds, a volleyball court, a sandy beach, and a small marina, all developed with consideration for the needs of local residents and Tallinn’s long-term urban development strategy.

Kalaranna District comprises 12 buildings with a total of 380 apartments and 29 commercial units. As of today, approximately 80% of the residential units have been sold, and all commercial spaces have been successfully allocated. The heart of the development is a spacious, car-free square surrounded by functional architecture and landscaped recreational areas, designed to support a diverse and people-friendly urban lifestyle.

Kalaranna District has been developed in collaboration with architects Mihkel Tüür and Ott Kadarik (Kadarik Tüür Architects), landscape architects Maarja Tüür and Kerttu Kõll (Sfäär Planeeringud), and interior architect Galina Burnakova.
